Letter to Customers regarding COVID-19 and our operations:

RE: COVID-19 – Confirmation of ‘Essential Business’ Status

Dear Valued Customer:

As we navigate through these uncertain times, we want to communicate our status as an “Essential Critical Infrastructure Workforce” as set forth by the Department of Homeland Security in the March 19, 2020 Memorandum on Identification of Essential Critical Infrastructure Workers During Covid-19 Response. Expressly included in its listing of essential operations is “Manufacturers and distributors (to include service centers and related operations) of…”. As such, our operations fall under the designation of the critical infrastructure sector: Critical Manufacturing. As you may know, Michigan’s governor, Governor Whitmer, issued a “Stay at Home” Executive Order on March 23, 2020. Pursuant to Executive Order 2020-21, we may continue in-person operations as a company that employs critical infrastructure workers in this sector. While our utmost priority is the safety and health of our employees and customers, we remain committed to meeting the needs of our valued customers.

As a vital supplier to numerous customers across several critical infrastructure industries, including, but not limited to, medical, food, defense and technology, we intend to maintain our normal manufacturing and shipping schedule. If issues arise due to government mandates and/or supply chain concerns that may adversely affect your order in any way, we will communicate with you directly. We fully understand the crucial part we play in your business continuity.

We appreciate your business, support and patience. We extend our best regards for good health to you, your employees and loved ones.
